MCB trainees present at the Duke Graduate Research Fair; Thrash wins 1st place

The Graduate School held 100 Years of Innovation: Duke Graduate Research Fair as part of Duke's Homecoming celebrations on Thursday, September 17th. Tasked with creating "a public-facing research display that is visually engaging, easy to navigate, and designed to spark conversation with a broad Duke audience," trainees were asked to explain their "work clearly, accurately, and compellingly to those outside [their] field."

Three trainees from the Molecular Cancer Biology program, all from the Pendergast Lab, represented the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology: Tatiana Prioleau, Kevin Scott, and Hannah Thrash.

Thrash won the competition, receiving a $500 prize and a trophy.
