Community Building & Professionalism Initiatives

The PCB Committee for Community Building is made up of students, staff, postdocs and faculty from across the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology. The purpose of the committee is to develop and implement initiatives that focus on the following:

  • Encourage a welcoming and supportive PCB community.
  • Organize events and workshops with a community building focus.
  • Create initiatives for members of the broader Durham community through outreach and engagement.

The Committee is committed to supporting the PCB community while providing opportunities to learn and improve upon our mission.

Do you have ideas that you would like the PCB department to implement, or want to find out how you can get involved? We’d love to hear from you! Please contact the leader of community building, Jessica Sawyer.
